Data protection is a matter of trust and your trust is important to us. The protection and legally compliant handling of your personal data ("processing") is an important concern for us. 

We want you to know when we collect which data and how we use it. We use the information we received about you at the fair only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to be implemented by the European Union (EU) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

 

Information obligations according to Art. 13 GDPR

According to Art. 13 GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation obliges us to provide relevant information every time personal data is collected directly from the data subject.

Which personal data of yours are processed by us? And for what purposes?

The information received at the trade fair (your contact details and, if applicable, your concerns) process as only to fulfill your request and within the framework of initiating a possible business relationship.

Legal basis for processing

Your data will either be processed in accordance with

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the implementation of precontractual measures (e.g. if you have a specific interest in our services and products)

or

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR as part of a balance of interests, because we can assume that you are interested in us making business contact.
  •  In individual cases, processing can take place on the basis of your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para.1a. You can revoke this consent at any time with future effect.

We save your contact details in our commercial systems. Likewise, a possible request from you will be save until the purpose limitation and legal basis cease to apply.

 

Who is the recipient of the data?

In principle, your data will not be passed on to third parties, unless this would be necessary to fulfill your request in the context of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR or on the basis of a legal obligation.

 

How long will the data be saved?

The data will be stored for at least as long as is necessary to process your request or a possible contractual relationship. We generally assume an unlimited business relationship. We therefore only delete the data if you ask us to do so -if the legal obligations to store them (e.g. from commercial or tax law) conflict, the data will only be deleted after these deadlines. If deletion is not possible in our systems, the data is anonymized so thar a personal reference can no longer be established.

 

Your rights - Rights of the data subject according to GDPR

Articles 12 -23 GDPR regulate the rights of the data subject, i.e.your rights regarding the handling of your data. These are essentially towards us:

Right to information at the latest at the time of collection according to Art. 13 GDPR, which we comply with through this data protection declaration:

  • Right to provision information according to Art. 15 GDPR
  • Right to correction according to  Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to deletion according to  Art. 17 GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR
  •  as far as applicable: right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR
  • Right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR
